Hey guys! So I recently joined a fitness challenge and I ended up sharing a smoothie recipe that I absolutely love. One of the ingredients I use is raw ginger.
Some of the health benefits of ginger are pretty well know while others are much less familiar.
Did you know that ginger could be used as an antihistamine for allergy sufferers? What about that it has anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-toxic and anti-microbial agents that can be used in prevention and treatment of the common cold? Here’s one I was surprised to discover; ginger also provides migraine relief.
I didn’t know about either of these three benefits. Here are some more less-familiar but pretty cool health benefits of ginger:
I use raw ginger in my smoothies and soups. It gives my beverages and foods a zesty kick and soothing taste. When putting in your foods or soups just boil it into your foods. I blend it into my smoothies using my Vitamix blender.
